| Sonnet? By: Ryan McKay What does it take to create a sonnet? While I write this I hope to soon find out. I'm doing it completely wrong, I bet. What is this thing supposed to be about? My mind won't listen for any reason. Eyes proceed to wander across the room. I look left to see what part he is on. It looks like everyone will be done soon. Should i hand this in and hope for the best Or shall I cross this out and start again? What do you have to say, my patient guest? Wait, do I need nine syllables or ten? Ah, all of hope is gone. The jig is up! My writing is but a half empty cup. |
